My camera was having a hard time picking up the rainbow of sparkling color
Normally, when I use holographic polish, or any "favorite" polish, I will use a color-matching undie so I don't use as much of my "favorite" polish. However, for this, I wanted to see how opaque this polish was. I started off with a peel off base coat, like I always do. Then, I painted one thin coat on each of my nails. I took a picture at this point, to show the opacity.
Next, I painted another thin coat on all my nails. Here is 2 thin coats.
The coverage was pretty opaque, but I could still see my tips in a couple areas. Let's try one more coat and see how that looks.
That is perfect. And it is absolutely beautiful! The holo is stunning in this polish. I finished this off with one coat of Seche Vite. I was so excited to see what this looked like in the sun. Unfortunately, it was fairly overcast. :(
I still tried to get a good shot outside. With such little sun, you can barely see the holo. That is pretty typical of any holographic polish (and pigment).
I usually do nail art of some kind, but with holographic polishes, I really have a hard time putting art over it. I love the rainbow effect, and I hate covering it up! So I didn't do any nail art this time.
I wore this polish for a couple days, and it wore great. I didn't have any spots that chipped, and my tips didn't show any wear at all. I am very impressed with this polish!!
Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this polish to anyone that loves holographic. Or glitter. Or nail polish LOL. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this polish at all. You can find this holographic polish on the BornPrettyStore website here. This polish comes in 11 different colors. The color I chose was #2. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies.
