Born Pretty Store Mandala Square Stamping Plate Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the square mandala stamping plate S004 from BornPrettyStore. Mandalas are very popular right now. Some of them I really like, but once I have the image on the stamping plate of the full mandala, I feel like I'm not sure what to do with it. This plate is nothing but half mandalas! Let's take a look at the plate:
This plate comes with the white and gold sleeve (which I love!)

It comes with the standard blue protective film over the plate

And here is the plate with the film removed! I think I will finally fall in love with mandalas :)

Every image picked up perfect! I was a bit worried when I saw how fine the lines and dots were on some of the images, but I had no issues at all!

For my design, I used my gradient I created in my review of the dual-ended gradient stamper sponge head pen. You can see my review for that item here. I painted my nails with 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow, and did a gradient with OPI Mermaid's Tears and Sinful Colors Pinks Smart. Then I painted on a thin coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust for a bit of sparkle. I topped it off with Seche Vite. Here is how the gradient looks:

I picked an image from the plate that had a bunch of tiny dots (because those tend to be harder to transfer when stamping). I stamped using Mundo de Unas black stamping polish. Once I was happy with my design, I sealed it in with a coat of Rush High Speed top coat. Here is my final look:

This design turned out way better than I was picturing in my head. I absolutely LOVE it and plan on wearing it until it is no longer wearable. That is not like me at all

Overall, this plate is perfect. It takes the overwhelming feeling away from the full mandalas (at least for me), and it stamps perfect! I am very impressed with how well the fine lines and dots picked up and transferred. I am so glad I got this plate and will definitely use it a lot! And with 8 very different images, you can do so many different designs. You can find this plate on the Born Pretty Store website, here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Born Pretty Store Spring Garden L002 Stamping Plate Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the Spring Garden stamping plate L002 from BornPrettyStore. I thought these animals were so cute! First, let's take a look at the plate.
It comes in this pretty white and gold sleeve

As with most plates, it has a blue protective film over the plate

And here is the plate with the film removed. I can't wait to see how it stamps!

Every image stamps perfect!

For my design, I painted my nails with 2 coats of OPI Alpine Snow. Then I put on 2 thin coats of Sinful Colors Festival Fairy and topped it in with one coat of Seche Vite. Here is how my nails look at this point:

The shimmer is a very pretty green and pink

Before I painted my nails, I picked up the image I chose and filled it in directly on my stamper. While I painted my  nails, my design on the stamper was drying. To transfer my design, I painted one thin coat of Orly Bonder on my ring finger. When that was slightly tacky, I stamped my image on my nail. Then I sealed it in with one thin coat of Rush High Speed top coat. Here is my final look:
I love how the tiger turned out! He is so cute!!

Overall, I absolutely love this plate. All the animals are very cute and I really love the floral around them. If you are an animal lover and a stamper, I highly suggest this plate! Every single image, no matter how large or small the etched area is, picked up perfect on the first try with regular nail polish (and I tend to struggle a bit with regular nail polish when stamping because I am so used to using the slower drying stamping polishes). I have nothing bad to say about this plate. I also really like the new sleeve design. The white and gold is very pretty! You can find this plate on the Born Pretty Store website, here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off any regular priced items.

Born Pretty Store Peacock Chameleon Holographic Gel Polish Review

In this post, I will be reviewing Peacock Chameleon Holographic Soak Off Gel Nail Polish from BornPrettyStore. I received 2 different colors of this polish. Let's take a look at the bottles first:

I used the blue polish first. For this design, I painted my nails with 2 coats of Arte Clavo Black gel polish, curing in between each coat. Next, I painted on a thin coat of the blue polish. When applying the polish, I noticed that some of the glitter in the polish was pretty chunky, so before I cured my polish, I tried to flatten out any of the bumps or glitters that weren't laying flat. I just used the brush from the polish bottle. I wiped all the polish off the brush, and ran the brush on my nails (in the same manner you would if you were applying polish). I cured this coat, and repeated the steps above for the next coat. I had full coverage in two thin coats. Here's how my nails look at this point:
 This polish is beautiful!

We got a break in the rain we've been having so I ran outside for another picture!
You can see the blue to purple shift in this picture, but not much of the holo since we didn't have much sun.

I wore this polish for a couple days, mostly to test the wear. It wore great! No chipping or lifting anywhere! It has 3 colors in the shift: Blue to purple to pink. As I kept looking at my nails, I thought this polish was perfect for galaxy nails. Only problem was I had never attempted gel galaxy nails. I started out by removing my polish, and putting black gel polish on all my nails. Using a small piece of a makeup sponge and some tweezers, I sponged on some light pink, light mint green, and the blue chameleon glitter. Once I was happy with my design, I cured them and topped them with a coat of No Wipe top coat (I use Born Pretty Store's No Wipe top coat, found here). Next, I used a small nail art brush and painted on a couple stars as well as some little white dots for tiny stars, and sealed that in with one more thin coat of No Wipe top coat. Here is my final look:
The holo wasn't showing up much on my camera, but it was definitely there in person!

We still don't have much sun, but you can see the blue to purple shift in these two pictures.

For the pink color, I started out the same way I did as with the blue, two coats of Arte Clavo Black gel polish. The pink polish was also a little chunky if I applied it too thick, so I used the same process as I did with the blue. I got full coverage with two thin coats of this one as well. Here is how they look:

The shift in this polish seems a bit stronger than in the blue polish. It could be because the colors aren't as close to each other as in the blue polish. This one shifts from pink to gold to green.

I love that you can see all 3 colors of the shift in this picture!

I decided to do a little stamping over this polish since it feels like I haven't stamped for a while. I chose an older plate this time, but it is still one of my favorite images! I used Born Pretty plate BP-17. It is such an old plate, I couldn't even find it on the Born Pretty website. I didn't want to do too much stamping because I absolutely love this polish and I didn't want to cover much of it up. I decided to only stamp my ring finger and my thumb. I used Mundo de Unas stamping polish in white, and sealed in my design with one more thin coat of No Wipe top coat. Here is my final look:

Overall, I absolutely LOVE these polishes! I can't stop looking at my nails!! The only thing that I noticed with them was the chunkiness of the glitter. But if you slow down a bit, and do thin coats, it is not too bad and you can work with it and minimize any bumps you might have. After trying these two, I will for sure order more of the colors. This polish comes in 8 different colors so there is sure to be a color you will like! You can find them on the Born Pretty Store site, here. I showed you #2 and #8. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off any regular priced items.

Born Pretty Store Chameleon Pearl Stamping Polish Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the new chameleon pearl stamping polish from BornPrettyStore. This stamping polish caught my eye because it is different than any other stamping polish I have seen. It reminding me a little bit of the pigment stamping, but much easier! Let's take a look at the bottle:

You can see a little bit of a shift in the bottle, but the green is the dominant color coming through so far. I can't wait to see how this looks stamped!

For my first design, I painted my nails with Color Club Where's the Soiree? Then, I sponged OPI Alpine Snow over the tips. I sealed this in with one coat of Seche Vite. I was so excited to start stamping, I forgot to get a picture before I stamped. I used plate BPL-024 and stamped all my nails with the daisy image in the bottom, right corner. I finished this design off with one more coat of Seche Vite. Here is the final look:

I really liked the way it looked over the black, but the white tip idea looked better in my head. It didn't turn out how I pictured it would. It does give you an idea of what it looks like over both black and white. Since I wasn't happy with it, I decided to start over.

Since I loved the way this stamping polish looked over black, I decided to paint all my nails with Color Club Where's the Soiree? again, and then one coat of Seche Vite. Once again, I used plate BPL-024. I chose another image that has a lot of stamped area so I could get the full chameleon effect. I chose the third image in the top row from the left. Once I stamped all my nails, I sealed in my design with one more coat of Seche Vite. Here is the final look:

I absolutely LOVE this!!! You can see the green to purple shift and it is amazing!!!

Overall, this stamping polish is over the top! There is one other color I definitely need to add to my collection. When I stamp with regular nail polish, I find I have a hard time because it dries too quickly. With this polish, I did not have any issues. It did not seem to dry too fast for me to pick it up and stamp it. It was very easy to work with. I also tested it over a fake nail to see if it would apply smooth and evenly as a nail polish. It worked great! (I was so excited to stamp with it that I forgot to make an accent nail painted with the stamping polish). If you are into nail stamping, and like the chameleon look, or even something that just stands out, you should consider this polish. It comes in 5 different colors (I chose BPU06 The Milky Way). You can find this stamping polish on the BornPrettyStore website here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Born Pretty Store Thermal Shimmer Glitter Color Changing UV Gel Polish Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the Thermal Shimmer Glitter Color Changing UV Gel Nail Polish from BornPrettyStore. I saw these polishes not too long ago, and they caught my eye. I am really excited to try them out. Let's take a look at the bottle:

I really like the gradient color on the bottle. I thought it made the bottle stand out more than the plain white bottles.

This polish is packed full of silver glitter. I can't wait to see what it looks like on, and see the color shift! I painted 2 thin coats of this polish on my nails, curing in between coats. After I cured the second coat, I finished it off with one coat of BornPrettyStore no-wipe top coat (found here). My hands are usually cold this time of year, so here is how it looks so far:
That blue is so pretty!

To see the color shift, I warmed my hands up in very warm water. Here is how it looks warm:

As my hands started to cool off, you could see the polish changing color. This is my favorite part of thermal polish:

I wanted to add just a little bit of a design to an accent nail. I chose an image from Love & Marriage 1 plate by UberChic Beauty. I used Mundo de Unas white for my stamping polish. After I stamped my design on and cleaned up around my cuticle, I sealed in the design with one thin coat of no wipe top coat. Here is the final look:

Once again, to get the color shift, I had to warm my hands up in warm water.

Overall, I am so glad I got to try this polish. It was everything I had hoped for, and then some. I can't wait to use it again. I am thinking about ordering more colors as well. The polish went on nice and smooth, it self-leveled very nicely, I didn't experience any chipping in the few days that I wore it, and I can't wait to wear it again! I have nothing but good things to say about this polish! You can find this polish on the BornPrettyStore website here. This polish comes in over 20 different colors. The color I have shown you is #5746. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off any regular priced items.
