Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate BPL-024 Review

In this post, I will be reviewing stamping plate BP-42 from BornPrettyStore. One thing I really love about the larger stamping plates are the larger images. Some of the shorter images just don't fit on all my nails!

This plate is full of floral images, and beautiful ones at that!

The first thing I did was peel off the blue protective plastic with some tweezers. Then I stamped each image on a piece of paper to test the etching. There are some fine lines in a couple images, and we all know how finicky those lines can be. Here are my swatches:

 Wow! These all stamp perfect!  

Once again, I couldn't decide on just one image to use, so I did a couple different designs. To start out both of my designs, I painted on one coat of Born Pretty Store's peel off base coat. Click here to read my review on that.

For my first look, I started out with two coats of Daily Hues Nail Lacquer Carol. This pretty red has some holo that likes to peek through, but it was rainy outside, so no sunshine for me :( I topped this off with one coat of Seche Vite. I must've forgotten to take a picture of Carol before stamping. I knew I was forgetting something! I do have a swatch of it on Instagram that I posted a few months ago. You can see that image here. I stamped using Mundo de Unas White, and the image I used is the third one from the left, on the bottom row. I finished off this design with one more coat of Seche Vite.

This image stamped great. It picked up all the detail!

For my other design, I started off with two coats of Orly Oh Cabana Boy. What a pretty, shimmery pink!! So summery! And I didn't get a picture of this one either! I was so excited to start stamping, I must not have even thought about pictures LOL. I used two images, because I couldn't decide on just one. I used the first and the third one from the right, in the top row. I finished off the design with one more coat of Seche Vite. Here is the final look:

I didn't get any macro's of this one either. Boy, was I slacking?!

Overall, I absolutely love this plate! It has such great floral images. I can't wait to use it again. I think it is one of my new favorite plates!!
