Born Pretty Store Chameleon Nail Glitter Dust Review

In this post, I will be reviewing some chameleon nail glitter dust from BornPrettyStore. The reason I chose this glitter is because I love glitter, and I wanted to see how it compared to the multi-chrome chameleon glitter I reviewed a couple months ago. You can read that review here. I chose color #4, because I LOVE pink!! Let's take a look at the glitter.

My camera had such a hard time picking up the pink sparkliness (is that even a word?), but I did the best I could. Here are a couple closer shots:

I had such a hard time deciding what color to put under this pretty glitter. I ended up deciding to go with a dark blue/light blue combination. I wanted to show you what it looked like over a light and a dark color. For the light blue, I used Sinful Colors Bright Lucite. For the dark blue, I used Sinful Colors Navy I Do.

For this look, I painted one coat of Born Pretty Store's peel off base coat. My review for that item can be found here. Next, I painted my index and pinky nails with 2 coats of Bright Lucite, and my two middle fingers with 2 coats of Navy I Do. I topped this off with a coat of Seche Vite, so it would dry faster. It looks like I forgot to take a picture at this step :(

The next thing I did was add one coat of Orly Bonder, so the glitter had something slightly sticky to adhere to. To put the glitter on, I used a fan brush and gently patted the glitter into the dried Bonder, then brushed the excess off, onto a piece of paper. I ended up adding 2 coats of glitter. Once this was done, I added one more coat of Seche Vite to seal in the glitter and smooth it out.

In this pic, you can definitely see more sparkle than in the others

To finish off my look, I decided to stamp some lacy flowers over the glitter. I used plate BPL-030 from Born Pretty Store, and stamped with Mundo de Unas stamping polish in Mexican Pink. Then, I sealed in the stamping with one last coat of top coat. Here is the final look:

Overall, I am very happy with this glitter. If you love glitter and flakies, you should definitely check out this glitter! I would love to see what color combinations you come up with!!!
