Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate BP-42 Review

In this post, I will be reviewing stamping plate BP-42 from BornPrettyStore. I love stamping, so I definitely wanted to do a review on one of their round stamping plates.
I had a few different ideas for using this plate.
I couldn't pick just one image.

The first thing I did was peel off the blue protective plastic with some tweezers. Then I stamped each image on a piece of paper to test the etching. There are some fine lines in a couple images, and we all know how finicky those lines can be. Here are my swatches:
Each image stamped perfectly

I ended up doing two different designs for this review. For each design, I started out with one coat of Born Pretty Store's peel off base coat. You can read my review on that item here. For my base color, I used Sinful Colors Gorgeous. Unfortunately, I did not take a picture of my nails before I stamped on them. For my stamping, I used Mundo de Unas Gold, and the bottom, left image from the stamping plate. I finished everything off with one coat of Seche Vite. I really liked how the color combination turned out.

The day I did this design, it was very rainy and humid. I don't know if it was that, or that I didn't let the base coat dry long enough before I painted the first coat of color on my nails, but I have some severe bubbling on my ring and pinky fingers :(  This was my third attempt at this design, and I just wasn't having much luck (all my error though). Even with the bubbles, this design still looks very cool.

For my second design, I painted three coats of Sinful Colors Unicorn on my nails. I topped them with one coat of Seche Vite, to speed up the drying process.
Once my top coat was dry, I used Mundo de Unas White to stamp the flower image on the top left of the stamping plate. Over that, I used Mundo de Unas Pink and stamped that same image again. I finished them off with one more coat of Seche Vite. This was my first successful double stamping mani that I was actually happy with! I love these nails. They are perfect for a spring or early summer look!

Overall, this stamping plate is perfect! Every image picks up and stamps just as it should! I will use this plate over and over again! You can find this stamping plate on the Born Pretty Store website, here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies.
