In this post, I will be reviewing the new chameleon pearl stamping polish from BornPrettyStore. This stamping polish caught my eye because it is different than any other stamping polish I have seen. It reminding me a little bit of the pigment stamping, but much easier! Let's take a look at the bottle:
You can see a little bit of a shift in the bottle, but the green is the dominant color coming through so far. I can't wait to see how this looks stamped!
For my first design, I painted my nails with Color Club Where's the Soiree? Then, I sponged OPI Alpine Snow over the tips. I sealed this in with one coat of Seche Vite. I was so excited to start stamping, I forgot to get a picture before I stamped. I used plate BPL-024 and stamped all my nails with the daisy image in the bottom, right corner. I finished this design off with one more coat of Seche Vite. Here is the final look:
I really liked the way it looked over the black, but the white tip idea looked better in my head. It didn't turn out how I pictured it would. It does give you an idea of what it looks like over both black and white. Since I wasn't happy with it, I decided to start over.
Since I loved the way this stamping polish looked over black, I decided to paint all my nails with Color Club Where's the Soiree? again, and then one coat of Seche Vite. Once again, I used plate BPL-024. I chose another image that has a lot of stamped area so I could get the full chameleon effect. I chose the third image in the top row from the left. Once I stamped all my nails, I sealed in my design with one more coat of Seche Vite. Here is the final look:
I absolutely LOVE this!!! You can see the green to purple shift and it is amazing!!!
Overall, this stamping polish is over the top! There is one other color I definitely need to add to my collection. When I stamp with regular nail polish, I find I have a hard time because it dries too quickly. With this polish, I did not have any issues. It did not seem to dry too fast for me to pick it up and stamp it. It was very easy to work with. I also tested it over a fake nail to see if it would apply smooth and evenly as a nail polish. It worked great! (I was so excited to stamp with it that I forgot to make an accent nail painted with the stamping polish). If you are into nail stamping, and like the chameleon look, or even something that just stands out, you should consider this polish. It comes in 5 different colors (I chose BPU06 The Milky Way). You can find this stamping polish on the BornPrettyStore website here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off any regular priced items.
