Born Pretty Store Hollow Nail Art Sticker Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the BornPrettyStore Hollow Nail Art Stickers. For this post, I chose design number JV-203 Fish Scales!! As soon as I saw these, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them. Let's get right to it!

These stickers come 12 to a sheet. I have never worked with full nail vinyls, but these seem to be pretty thin. However, they worked great.

I started off this look with one coat of Funky Fingers Dark Knight for my base color, topping it off with a quick dry top coat. I applied the nail stickers using my tweezers. Then, I sponged on two colors to create the start of my ombre. For this, I used Sinful Colors Happy Ending and Keira Blue. After that had time to dry, I sponged on the glitter. I used Sinful Colors Call You Later and Nail Junkie. While that was still wet, I carefully peeled the sticker off my nail and added another coat of my quick dry top coat. That's it! I threw on a couple little gems and was done.

This is one of my favorite designs I have done, and it was so simple thanks to these awesome stickers.

Overall, these hollow nail art stickers were super easy to use, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in nail stickers or vinyls. And I NEED to get some more designs!! Born Pretty Store Holographic Nail Foil Review

In this post, I will be reviewing some more holographic nail foil from BornPrettyStore. In case you missed my last holographic nail foil review, you can find it here. This time, I will be reviewing the Starry Sky Glitter foil. Like the other foil, this one comes in a long strip, and there is so much here!

This foil has such a strong linear holographic effect. I had so many ideas until this beauty was in front of me. I was stunned by its holo beauty. I decided to do 2 completely different designs.

The first one I am going to show you is supposed to be a little girl blowing bubbles at night. And, like real bubbles, these ones have the pretty holographic rainbow to them. For this design, I used Sinful Colors Navy I Do for my base. Then, I stamped my bubbles with my sticky base coat and pressed the foil into the stamping. Last, I added the girls face in grey and her bubble wand in silver.

It didn't turn out exactly like I imagined, but I still like it a lot.

For my other design with this foil, I did a shattered glass design. I have been looking for the perfect material to make shattered glass nails for a while, and this foil is perfect!!

I love these nails! And they were so much fun to do. I used Funky Fingers Dark Knight for my base, then used a quick dry top coat. Instead of pressing the foil into the nail like I did in the previous look, I cut a thin strip of foil off the roll, and cut triangles out of that strip. One nail at a time, I applied a thin layer of clear nail polish, and when that was still tacky, I picked up each piece of foil with my dotting tool and placed it on my nail, gently pushing it down with the dotting tool. It worked perfect!

Overall, I found this foil very easy to work with, and a lot of fun. I really like how versatile it is. This is another product that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for holographic foils. You can find this foil on the BornPrettyStore website here (I chose design 43). They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Born Pretty Store Holographic Snowflake Nail Foil Review

I received some holographic snowflake nail foil from BornPrettyStore. When I saw this foil, I immediately thought of a snowy winter night. I love how there are so many snowflakes of different sizes and designs.

I was surprised at how much foil you get in this little container! This is enough to do tons of designs.

Here is what I came up with:

For my base, I used one coat of Funky Fingers Dark Knight. I topped that off with a quick dry top coat. On my pinky finger, I used 3 coats of Avon Sparkling Sky. Before putting on the foil, I applied a thin coat of my sticky base coat so the foil had something to adhere to.

A macro shot:

I found it easier to cut each individual snowflake out, and apply them separately. When I applied them in one sheet, I found that I had too many wrinkles in the foil. I think it is because my nails are so curved. This was also my first experience with foil, so with a little more practice, I might be able to figure out how to work out those wrinkles.

This foil was very easy to work with. It was super easy to apply. I waited until my sticky base coat was nearly dry, placed the foil where I wanted it, and used an orange stick to press it down. Then I used my tweezers to peel up the plastic layer the foil is on. I love how sparkly this foil is! The only thing I noticed about it that I should mention is, top coat dulls the holo effect.  The snowflakes just look metallic (take a look at my index finger in the picture above).

Overall, I love these snowflakes, and I can't wait to wear them again! You can find this foil on the BornPrettyStore website here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off any regular priced items: PCX31

Born Pretty Store Thermal Nail Polish Swatch & Review

I have an exciting review for you today. I received a bottle of Thermal Nail Polish from BornPrettyStore and I couldn't wait to try it. And what a better time of year to do that than winter! The temperature of my hands is changing constantly. I chose the pretty purple polish that changes to pink.

This bottle is 6 ml in size, and I chose color number 104.

This is 3 thin coats.
When cold, this polish is a medium purple

When warm, it is pink

And here it is changing from warm to cold.

This polish applied very smooth, self-leveled nicely, and dried to a matte finish very quickly. I added a quick dry top coat for added protection and shine.

I even added some stamping. I used plate BP-L015

Overall, I am very happy with this nail polish and I will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for thermal or color-changing nail polishes. You can find this nail polish on the BornPrettyStore website here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies.
