Born Pretty Store Stamping Polish Review

In this post, I will be reviewing some stamping polish from BornPrettyStore. As many of you know, I love stamping, so I couldn't wait to try their stamping polish out! One color I was desperately missing from my stamping polish collection was a good true blue that stamps over black. Their blue was the perfect blue I have been looking for, so I knew that was the color I needed to try out.
This color is #17

I did two different designs using this stamping polish. One was merely to test the color over black and a light blue (since just about everything stamps over white). The other is what I will be wearing on my nails for the next couple days :)

Here is my first design. The polish stamped clean and crisp. And look at that color over black. This is perfect! I love it already!

Here is my second design. I love the way this one turned out!

In the first design, I used 2 coats of Funky Fingers Dark Knight for my black, and 2 coats of Sinful Colors Bright Lucite for my blue. I topped that off with a quick dry top coat. Then, I stamped using stamping plate BPL-029 from the BornPrettyStore website, found here. I finished the look off with a top coat.

In the second design, I used 2 coats of Color Club Crystal Baller on all my fingers except my ring finger, which I used Color Club Harp On It. I topped that off with a quick dry top coat. I stamped my ring finger using stamping plate BP-28 from the BornPrettyStore website, found here. I finished that nail off with a top coat.

I have been a heavy user of a popular stamping polish brand for about a year. Similar to my regular stamping polish, this one is best removed from your cuticles and skin with a non-acetone polish remover. Acetone will make this stamping polish spread, in a sense, making clean up a bit longer than it needs to be. It can also be removed from your skin, or your nails (if you use a quick dry top coat) using tape, if you make a mistake. It does seem to dry a bit faster than I am used to, but as long as you work quickly, you won't have any troubles at all.

Overall, I would highly recommend this stamping polish to anyone looking for a good stamping polish. I love it, and will definitely look into adding more colors to my collection in the future! Born Pretty Store Micro Zircon Rhinestones Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the Micro Zircon Rhinestones from BornPrettyStore. You can do so much with rhinestones, so I had to check these out.

These rhinestones are so small and pretty. Compared to the rhinestones that usually come with 10 or 12 colors in a wheel-shaped container, these have so much sparkle. They have clarity to them and are not dull or foggy looking. I thought they would be bigger than they were. I had to rethink my design.

For my base color, I used 2 coats of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Violet Voltage, and finished it off with a quick dry top coat. Then, I added a matte top coat to my ring finger. Next, I did a half moon shape in rhinestones on my ring finger, attaching them with matte top coat, so I didn't accidentally add any shine to my matte look. Last, I added 2 rhinestones to each of the rest of my fingers to tie it all together. I love that these rhinestones do not have flat backs. It gives them much more dimension.

Overall, I would recommend these rhinestones. The color and clarity was so much better than any other rhinestones I have in my collection. I would love to get the other 3 colors. You can find these rhinestones on the BornPrettyStore website here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Born Pretty Store 2-Piece Crystal Clear Jelly Stamper Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the 2-piece Crystal Clear Jelly Stamper from BornPrettyStore. Let's get right to it :)

The first thing I noticed about this stamper is how squishy the stamper head is. It is about as soft as the squishy-medium stamping heads that I have. I also have the original Jelly Stamper. This one is MUCH softer than that. The thing I like most about this stamper is that the holder is clear. It lets in so much more light, allowing you to see where you are placing your design, without needing the light shining down the end of the stamper.

I did not use the clear scraper that came in the set. For some reason, I cannot scrape with these types of scrapers for anything! I used my clear credit card style scraper from BornPrettyStore, found here.

Out of the package, this stamper picked up my image, but it was not a complete image (unfortunately, I was so excited to use it, I didn't get a picture of my first pick up). I wiped the stamper head with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohol, and tried again. It worked great. It picks up crisp images, both single, small images, and full nail designs. It does pick up much better with a lighter roll, as opposed to a harder press.

The full image did have a couple small spots that were missed when picking up
I think that was my fault (I waited too long)

My ring finger was done with a single image, stamped multiple times. You can see that I used the stamper to put those flowers exactly where I wanted them. The other 3 fingers were stamped using a full nail image, and I tried to use the same placement of the image on each finger. You can see my review of this stamping polish here.

Overall, I would recommend this stamper to anyone looking for some help with image placement, or just wants a clear stamper. It works great, lets in lots of light, and you can't beat the price! Such a great value!! You can find this stamper and scraper set on the BornPrettyStore website here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Born Pretty Store Multi-Chrome Chameleon Glitter Powder Review

In this post, I will be reviewing the multi-chrome chameleon glitter powder from BornPrettyStore. When I saw this glitter, I had to check it out!

Look at all the glitter and sparkle in this stuff! Wow! As soon as I saw the container, I knew it was going to be amazing.

To begin, I painted 2 coats of Sinful Colors Go Go Boots over a base coat, then added a quick dry top coat.

Next, I taped off my two middle fingers using striping tape. I painted the areas I wanted to apply the glitter with a sticky base coat, to give the glitter something to adhere to. Once that dried, I peeled off my striping tape, and used a fan brush to gently brush the glitter onto the sticky base coat. I made sure I had an even layer of glitter, and brushed the excess off. This glitter was super fine, and stuck to everything! I used a damp q-tip and my clean up brush to wipe away as much of the glitter as I could from around my nails. Once I was happy with the clean up, I used a top coat to seal in the glitter. I washed my hands after my nails were dry, but as you can see, some glitter STILL stuck to me. Here is my final look:

Both of these pictures were taken outside, in the shade. I had a hard time getting good pictures, my camera just couldn't capture the beauty of this glitter. Over my purple polish, I was able to see purple, pink, blue, and green in the glitter, at different angles.

Overall, this is a MUST-HAVE for anyone! Although a little messy, it is SOOO worth it! It is absolutely breathtaking. I can't wait to use this again, and again, and again!!! I cannot put into words how much I love this stuff! Run! To your computer that is, and order this gem. It can be found on the BornPrettyStore website here. Born Pretty Store Peel Off Base Coat Review

Up for review today is the Temix Peel Off Base Coat from BornPrettyStore.  I have been wanting to try a peel off base coat for a while, and was very excited when I saw theirs.
I have seen peel off base coats in action before, so I knew what to expect.

This stuff goes on smooth, and dries SUPER fast! You do have to make sure it is fully dry before you paint anything over it. In this next picture, I have used one coat of this base coat. Please excuse the crack and patch on my index finger. I got a bit of polish under the crack and can't seem to get it out.

I spent quite a bit of time testing this base coat. I did several tests with varying wear time. Using an orange wood stick, you can use this base coat to peel off polish you want to swatch and take off, although your polish might be a bit sticky still. One to two days of wear time seemed to peel off the best. I was able to get most, if not all, of my polish to peel off at once in this time period. Three days wear time still peels decently well, peeling off in 2 or 3 pieces. At 4 days wear time, my polish was just starting to chip on the edges (not bad for a peel off base coat!), but it seemed that the peeling was a bit harder for me. The polish wanted to peel on in smaller pieces. It was much easier to get it off using an orange stick, but still took much more time than 1-2 days wear time.

Overall, I would highly recommend this peel off base coat, and will definitely keep it in my polish stash. I think it works great. I like to change my polish often, so this is very handy! You can find this base coat on the BornPrettyStore website here. They also have tons of other great nail art supplies. Don't forget to use my coupon code for 10% off any regular priced items: PCX31
